This is a photo of my beautiful 15 year old, female tuxedo cat, Moonbeam. We got her and her partner, a ginger tiger that we named Sunshine, at the local shelter in September 2000. Sadly, Sunnie passed away last May, leaving Moonbeam to start a new life on her own. As she no longer has Sunshine to take care of all their needs, she has now been quite vocal about letting us know what they are!! During the first couple of years, we were convinced she was the cat in the saying, "Has the cat got your tongue" as she never made a sound!!
My photography includes a wide range of interesting subject material; much of my inspiration has come from my travels and living locally. My work includes the ocean, trees, flowers, butterflies, buildings, landscapes, nautical themes, historical art and a combination of traditional and digital photography. I have been interested in photography and the arts since I was a teenager and have had a camera in my hands ever since. I enjoy manipulating my original photographs digitally to create special effects and whimsical designs on the computer. I have had award winning artwork on display at the York Art Association.
